Hello, after re installing Windows XP on the Dell laptop, I can not read my
email in my Comcast account. When sending test messages, the following
appears after the test failure: “Task 'Comcast Mail Server - Receiving'
reported error (0x8004210E) : 'Your mailbox is temporarily unavailable
because another e-mail message is being delivered to it or another mail
application is accessing it. The server responded: -ERR box locked' “ AND
“Log onto incoming mail server (POP3) Outlook could not connect to the
incoming POP3 mail server because your mailbox on the server was in useâ€

I already contacted my email provider, and they referred me to MS. Thanks
for your time and any advice!

Can you access your Comcast account with Outlook Express or another email
client? If so, looks like you may have had an install issue with Outlook.

Yea, I can access my Comcast account with other email clients; I'll do an
uninstall and then a reinstall of the lap top's Office Outlook to see if that
corrects any related install issues. Thanks Tachdango. Andy T.
