Office IME input mode

Anyone know how to manipulate the language input mode editor that
comes with windows and office?

I need to change the input mode when a column gets focus..
direct - half width katakana and back again..

Have tried google but cant find anything with much relevance.

Since you're asking in a DotNet group I think you mean for Windows Forms
programming. Every control has a property named ImeMode.

If you mean you want to intercept someone's interaction with an Office
program, sorry I can't help.
