I have Office and Frontpage 2003, I downloaded a template for frontpage with
some "flash" settings included. When I attemt to edit the "Flash" photos and
text, It say's I need to down load a converter that is on "Office 2000 disc
2". Is there some place online that I can download this converter, I can't
find my Office 2000 disc and due to the fact I have Office 2003, I didn't
think I would need it but I guess I do. Can anyone tell me how to or where I
can get this download? Or does anyone have any idea as to what I am talking
about?

I believe the converter is an error. It is attempting to try to find some
possible converter that may be an optional item for Office, but Office has
no ability to open .fla or .swf files. If you have the raw .fla Flash file,
then you'll be able to use Macromedia Flash to open and alter the file. If
you have only the .swf, which is the compiled Flash animation, you'll have
to find a program that will extract all the information out of the .swf and
turn it back into a .fla through reverse-engineering (often this process is
innacurate or more trouble than it's worth).

Hope this helps,

It depends on your template and if it is editable inside or outside of
Flash. If it has an external files you edit outside of Flash, then you don't
need Flash to edit it. Your template files may have been created with a
newer version of Office than you are trying to edit them with.

At any rate, you should be able to get an answer where you purchased the
template from their support. This article might also be of interest, not
sure if it pertains to your situation:
