Running XP w/ Off Prof 2002. No issues except:

from any application if I click on an email link, it does
NOT open Outlook. 61 copies of IE get opened with the std
msg "unable to open file". The first instance has the
message "cannot perform this operation because the
default mail client is not properly configured".

I need to install snapshot viewer to read files from a
particular vendor and will not mail it as an html file.
It will not install and comes up with a registry error.

In IE, Outlook is the def client. I tried "fix" Office
and it hangs on the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Classes\CLSID\4656baff-f397
-11-ce-bfel-00110057b343. I tried to unistall and it
hung on the same entry.

I have tried to remove it w/ regiedit in standard and
safe mode. No luck.

Thanks for the help - DA
