Office assistant Help feature

When I want Help I always have to type in a question for the Office
Assistant. Is there an Index available while using this version of Word
2000 (I think). My old version of Word 97 had and index where I would put
in a word related to the problem and it would give me choices.

Right click the office assistant and from 'options' uncheck use the office
assistant.
F1 should then give you the alternative view.
