Will Office 97 work with Windows XP? I had Office 97 on my old computer and
I just bought a new one.

Yes, but after you re-install it don't forget to apply the service packs
and patches again.
 
Hi Linda,

Office 97 will install and run just fine in XP. The only issue is that
spell checker remains greyed out. Here is the fix/workaround:

Go to Start/Run/EXPAND X:\i386\CSAPI3T1.DL_ C:\CSAPI3T1.DLL (Where X is your
CD-Rom drive letter). And then copy it to: Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof
