Office 2007 Outlook

I can not open outlook without getting the error an not open outlook, run
scanpst.exe to repair problem. When I try this it will not open and now I m
getting a error that scanpst32.dll is missing. I have uninstalled office and
installed it and it still does not work, I'm gettng the same messages.
Anybody have any ideas on what to do with this problem? Thanks!
 
What are the error messages - the crystal ball is on permanent vacation.
