Office 2007 Crashing

Yesterday everytime I tried to open OUtlook 2007 it crashed before getting to
the first screen. I uninstalled Office 2007 and reinstalled. Now whenever I
try to open any Office 2007 application I get a screen "Configuration
Progress" Configuring Microsoft Office Standard 2007. After 3 or 4 minutes
the application opens. What can I do to prevent this from keep happening?

Did you make a new profile? your old profile might be corrupt.

What errors were generated by the crash? look in the event viewer.

Where do I find the event viewer - I don't get any error messages - just a
configuration of Office 2007 everytime I open an Office application.

Did you make a new profile? your old profile might be corrupt.

What errors were generated by the crash? look in the event viewer.

Control panel, Administrator tools, Event viewer - errors will be marked
with a red exclamation point.
