Office 2003 Update Scan Freezing

When I log onto Microsofts' office update web page I have
the option of letting Microsoft scan for updates
available for the Office applications. This is very
similar to their Windows Update page. However, the
office update scan freezes in the middle. This problem
only began after I installed the Microsoft Antispyware
Beta. Has anyone else had this problem? Any
suggestions? The software does a good job, picked up
things the paid version of AdAware did not, but I don't
want to give up my Office updates either. Thank you.

Shutdown the Antispyware program in your system tray then run the update.
