Office 2003 - Insert address from a shared contact folder

I use the insert address facility with ease and have the address books shared
abd checked as "Outlook Address books" but shared contacts do not come up in
the list of Contacts. Office 2003 running exchange server 2003.
Can this be done?

I might be unclear- This is not a folder in the public folders- that works-
these are shared contacts from other mailboxes on exchange.
