Office 12 keeps reconfiguring

I have installed office 12.
After installation and installing all updates, every time I start an
application windows is configuring that application.
Does any one know how to stop this anoining process. tink maybe office did
not register properly in the windows registry (windows7).
Can the values be added manualy, since I have thied to reinstall office a
number of times with exectly the same result.

If you have more than 1 version of Office on the computer, it will want to
reconfigure every time you open/change versions. Make sure that you have all
the Office 12 Service Packs installed.
