Office 10 folder on data drive...trojan?

This came from one of my users....

"One of my drives had a new folder with Office 10 dll's and
dictionaries in it and a text file that said "Hi Doc." in it. This is
a drive I only keep data on, no programs.

Do you think I have some type of back door virus or the PC has been
compromised?"

I couldn't find and documentation about this so thought I would throw
it out to all of you guys and gals and see if any of you know what
would cause this. The user is very knowledgeable of his computer and
wouldn't lie about this.

Stats:
Windows XP SP2
Office 10
....more available if needed.

Thanks,

Well, what antivirus and firewall do you have installed? What security
scans have you performed? What are the results?
