I have Microsoft Office XP on my computer, and when I've searched the
"Templates" page, there are no templates available for the older versions -
especially in Access or Excel.

The templates for Access 2003 should work equally well with Access 2000 and
2002. The default file format for both Access 2002 and Access 2003 is the
Access 2000 format, and I believe that's the file format usedfor all the
current Access templates.

If you're looking for templates for older versions of Access than that,
don't hold your breath. Microsoft's dropped mainline support for Access 2000
and earlier versions, and will be dropping mainline support for Access 2002
this July. See
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];lifeOffice for
timelines.

AFAIK, the same holds true for Excel (the file format there hasn't changed
in quite some time)
