Hi Guys,
First, I need to say that I installed SP2 weeks ago on both my desk top and
lap top at home with zero problems. However my friend, who incidentally,
keeps her pc's clean and updated has had nothing but problems with her two
new machines.
Consequently, she penned this ode, to the tune of My Way.
Thought some of you might find it amusing. Then again some of you might not!

Here it is anyway.

And now, the end is near,
I can not face another install.
My friends, I’ll say it clear,
SP2 has been my downfall.
I trusted Microsoft,
They told me SP2 was ok.
But No, It wasn’t so, when I did it Bill’s way.

Regrets, Yes SP2,
Has been the bone of my contention.
I sactioned the download, and saw it through without exemption
I wish I’d never clicked, the flashing icon in my sys. tray.
I took the bait, it was too late, I did it Bill’s way.

Yes, there were times, with SP1,
When I had battles, but I won.
And through it all, when there was doubt
My XP Pro just spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall when I did it my way

I've cursed, I've screamed and cried,
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
"Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it Bill’s way"

Xp’S no good what has It got?
Without SP2, then I can not, get future updates, Bill’s made sure,
That I keep coming back for more.
The record shows I took the blows when I did it Bill’s way!

Yes, it was Bill’s way

poem's a giggle! though I, like you, had absolutely no problems with SP2
(except for adsubtract which I'm not using any more)
