Hi,
For years I used to sign in with a fake email address & ID. Suddenly,
nothing seemed to work and I tried every which way to use all the
functions of Google groups, but everything would freeze up.

So I signed up with a new account, using my real email address, and
everything is fine now!

Am I vulneerable to the Phishers of Email Adresses and other spammers?

Is there something I can do to prevent that?

Thanks,

Mike

How do I reset all my IP addresses? I seem to have corrupted my laptop
by connecting it to different Networks. I don't mean that I have any
viruses, trojans or spyware. I mean that I cannot access my college
Network without fiddling with IP addresses.

There was a time when I could just go to my office, plug in the cable
and start my laptop and I am online without any problems. Now I need to
manually change the IP ports in TCP/IP section of my connection. How do
I reset wvwrything as before?

Do I need to re-install everything all over again? I want to avoid this
because it takes about a day to re-install all my college packages and
related updates.

I thought there is a command in XP professional which can delete
everything at a stroke!! There is nothing in ipconfig /? Flushdns
doesn't do anything special. Also, reinstalling TCP/IP alone is not
possible.

Thanks.
