OE won't function after suspense

Help!

I am using W2K sp4 and OE v.6.00.2800.1123

Problem:

After the PC 'waking up' from suspense, OE will not function both
receiving and sending mail with the following error:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'xxx', Server:
'xxx', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
+++

I need to reboot to get it working again!

Any suggestions?
 
Then I suggest rephrasing your question - it's possible that people didn't
understand it as written. The OE gurus hang out in the OE groups, so that's
why it's the best place to post - this isn't a Windows issue. :-)

That said, have you tried closing OE before going on standby to see if it
makes any difference?
I have tried OE group and no result :(
