OE has blocked access to attachments

I sent an attachment to myself from office to home PC - it's a .xls spreadsheet. When I receive the email at home there is a banner at the top that says OE has blocked access to the attachment. How can I open this document?

1. Start Outlook Express.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click the Security tab, click to clear the "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially
be a virus" check box under Virus Protection, and then click OK.
