I just had to reformat my hard drive and re-install all my software and have
run into something totally foreign to me. As until OE (okay, it's not gonna
happen until Windows Mail comes out, I know) has a calendar and can sync
with my pda without an extra sync program, I use Outlook for my default mail
program and just leave copies of everything on the server then re-download
them on OE for actual handling.
So, I setup my server program (Choicemail) and as I did the first time I set
things up, I configured Outlook as my default e-mail program, inputting all
the addresses etc. Everything worked fine and I was able to find an
archived PST file so I even recovered most of my old mail folders.
The problem came when, to save time, I was just going to import the Outlook
mail settings and messages--just like I had done before--but for some reason
when I click on import and either mail settings or messages, I get a prompt
that OE can't find any other e-mail programs.
Anyone have a clue as to how this could be happening?

I'm cross posting this on the Outlook group as well as, to be honest, I
don't know whether the problem is an OE one or based on Outlook.
