OE 6 - DBX Corruption in both NTFS/FAT32

Irregardless of whether I use a NTFS or FAT32 filesystem - I have at least
two (2) corrupt dbx files and must DELETE those folders--- everyday.

INBOX: always + one (1) of the following -
Deleted Items: sometimes
Drafts: sometimes
User created folders: sometimes

Hmm: Sent Items and Out Box have never been corrupted--- yet.

Check Disk/Automatically Fix File System Errors (at reboot) has been run . .
.. with no change in dbx corruption.

Additionally: XPSP2 was installed saturday - still have corruption.

With this consistent--- daily corruption, perhaps the OS has incorrectly
identified me as a US Government Agency?
