Norma Jordan

Running Windows XP. I recently accepted a Windows Update
from a pop up on my desktop. This update installed about
18 files (in bright blue text) named, in part,
$NtUninstall. After the 'Uninstall, there is also a
series of different numbers and characters. Each one also
has several files within it and they all vary from 300
kbs to 7 or 8 MB's in size. What on earth are these and
should I delete them?

Thank you-
Norma

The blue color indicates encrypted or compressed NTFS files. The numbers
after the Q in the folder names identifies the updates. You can search for
each in the MS knowledgebase to find out what they are.
