ODBC Error: Data Source name Not Found and No Default Driver Specified

Hi everyone,
When trying to query a SQL database via Excel and when
trying to refresh the information within Excel, I receive
the following error:

ODBC DRIVER MANAGER: Data Source Name Not Found and no
Default Driver Specified.

Does anyone know what this is and how to fix this?
Thank You!

In addition to Rich Wallach's suggestion, consider using MS Query to
create a query (Data | Get External Data > New database query...). Once
done, check the SQL syntax in MS Query itself. That should give you
necessary database access/file name constructs.
