ODBC Drivers List

I have installed a third party ODBC driver, however after installation the
driver does not show up on the Drivers Tab of the ODBC Data Source
Administrator control panel. It appears the installation was successfull -
ie. the proper entries in the the register. is there a way to manually
populate the drivers list?

Ditto!! Somebody help us. I only see SQL server dirver but in the Wow6432Node
of Registry there seem to be many ODBC drivers loaded. I've got to say that
if you can't use 32bit ODBC drivers, it will be hard to move my company from
32bit

The solution:
After contacting Microsoft support about this issue, they offered this work
around to use the 32bit drivers.

Start | Run | c:\Windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe

The list of driver then appears in the ODBC Administrator

But the catch is.....

You need to use this program c:\Windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe as the ODBC
Administrator tool. The usual program Control Panel | Administrative Tools |
ODBC setup does not show the ODBC driver or dsn's.

The dsn's created are however available through programs such as Excel
