ODBC driver for Access error

All I am trying to do is create an ODBC connection for an Access database
through the Data Sources control panel. I have tried running the latest
mdac_typ. Still getting the exact same error I started with:

"The setup routines for the Microsft Access Driver (*.mdb) ODBC driver could
not be loaded due to system error code 126.

Could not load the setup or translator library."

This is on a Wyse machine running XPe 2002 SP2

Check with the device manufacturer is "Jet Database XXX" and "Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)" components were included in
the image running on the device?

Also, check you EventView log for more detail error info.

These were not included, but I was able to download them. The only weirdness
is you have to download and install the Win98/NT version of the Jet engine,
because the 2k/XP version doesn't come with all the files needed because
those files were supposed to come with the 2k/XP OS install. This is
apparently not the case with XPe. So you have to install the Jet engine
components, THEN run the latest MDAC. This appears to have worked.
