ODBC call failed

I have an Access XP front end with and a SQL2000 backend.
I am linking to a table on the SQL server in Access and I
can view the records in the table without any issues.
When I go to edit the records I receive this error "ODBC
call failed" I have tested my ODBC connection and it
tests successfully?????

Any suggestions?
