I had beginner's luck this afternoon, when setting my new computer, the
first I've had with XP. Using the file transfer wizard I was able to
transfer all my docs and settings for my IE.

But I didn't know how to transfer data and settings for MS Outlook 2000, the
same program is on both computers. So I thought I'd try to simply transfer
the large .pst file from the old computer (running Win98) and the new one.
But now I get a message saying they can't find each other.

When I was asked to browse for the network connection this afternoon, I
though I just highlighted "Home," but that didn't work this time.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Bob

No, because there is no option to import and export from Outlook to Outlook,
as best I can tell. That function seems to be solely for transferring files
between unlike program -- or at best from Outlook Express. I use Outlook.

I got it working thru file transfers. Thx.
