I have a Pivot table that is connected to an External DataSource (SQ
Server) I am trying to obtain the SQL Code Generated by the Pivot Tabl
to display the dat

it gives you ugly sql statements.

I would reccomend learning sql language-- 100 million database
professionals can't be wrong.

it is one of the most powerful languages anywhere.

if you know how to do excel vba; i can give you a way to get the SQL i
think.

i just think that you'd be better off writing a sql server 2005 TSQL
statements that included the PIVOT keyword.

MS is too drunk to make the pivotTables use the pivot KEYWORD like it
should.

So.....Aaron......

"ms is too drunk...." Wow! Must be one heck of a keg! Based on what
you say in myriads of forums, what is it exactly that you do like???
Access? ADP? SQL? Dreamweaver? Pyhon? Or is it you just don't like
anything by Microsoft since THEY FIRED YOU ?!?!?!

Can't wait for you to go back to school (out of kindergarten yet?)
