How to obtain an instance of the Windows Service ( : ServiceBase ) which
owns the currently executing process/thread ?

Your question makes no sense as stated. Threads belong to processes and
processes can be said to belong to the user, but they don't belong to
objects or classes.

What are you trying to accomplish? There's probably some way, but you're
starting from the wrong frame of mind.
