I have copied a drawing from Internet and I want to rotate it 90 dgrees in
ppt. The object rotation box is grayed out. Is there anyway to rototate such
drawings?

A) never copy and paste from the net - save to hard drive and use insert
picture from file.

If the option is greyed out its probably a format that cant be rotated. If
insert doesnt work try cut > paste special maybe as png

Dear John
Thanks for your reply.
May I ask why I should never copy/paste directly from net?
I did as you mentioned, but that didn't solve the problem. By inserting from
Insert menu, also dont allow to rotate the drawing.
Do you have any other idea?

Never cut & paste from the net ...
1) unless you have permission to do so. Otherwise it is probably a
copyright violation.
2) C&P brings over more than just an image, it brings over an OLE object
that may contain code or links you do not want. It also makes for large
presentations.

What version of PowerPoint are you running? 2000 and before could not
rotate many image formats.
