Object Animation

I have two graphics on a slide, and I applied custom animations to both of
them.

One of the animations "On Click" makes the image scale larger. The other
image "On Click" makes the image move, and if clicked again it spins.

1.. If I click the second image nothing happens until I click the first
image, and that animation plays, then I can click on the next image and that
animation will play. Is there a way to place multiple images on a slide that
could be clicked in no particular order?

2. Can multiple effects be combined, so "On Click" an image might move and
then spin and then scale on its own? A series of animation that play after
the initial "On Click."

Thanks!!!!

This is not easy to explain (easier to show) I'll try

To get what you want make the first animation in tha series an "on trigger"
event. In custom animation>effect options>timing set a trigger on itself (or
something else if you want) You should see a grey bar above the custom
animation.

Deselect the shape and select again

Now set the second animation "on click"

In the custom animation pane drag this animation down below the grey bar and
just below the first animation.

Try that first click on the trigger then click again ON THE TRIGGER

Using PowerPoint 2003:

- I Select an image on my slide

- Select Slide Show>Custom Animation

- Select Add Effect>Emphasis>Grow/Shrink

- Select Effect options>Timing Tab>Triggers>Start effect on click of itself

1.) But it still shows "On Click" when I click on the Trigger and the
animation below it

in custom animation pane?

- I select my image again, and add a motion path for the image to move it to
the right

- I then drag this animation to the very bottom

2.) When I play the animation in "Slide Show" I click on the image and it
and it grows, and if I click on it again, it moves to the right.

Why does it not grow and move to the right after it grows without requiring
a second click?

Thanks!!!!

Dave,
I think what you really want to play with is how the animations are started.
Instead of starting the second animation "On Click", try setting it to "With
Previous" or "After Previous". For a tutorial on starting animations, check
out this article from my site:
