Hi,
I want to obfuscate my code before delivery and I need some advice. I know
that a dotfuscator "lite"-version is bundled with Visual Studio, but is it
good enough? If not, what other programs is there to use. Should I perhaps
use Dotfuscator standard or Dotfuscator professional?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mats-Lennart

Mats,

Obfuscating you do for a certain public of users, it is never complete
impossible to reverse engineer a program even not when it is in complete
binary format (and because that has to happen with every program it can be
reverse engineerd).

However when it is by instance for my father, than I can assure you that you
don't need a lot of obfuscating to protect him from doing that.

As well does the worth of your application make a lot of difference. A one
week made program is for most people visiting this newsgroup not worth to
revers engineer they know where to get parts to do it easier.

However from those factors it depends what can be your best choose.

Just my idea.
