nvidia Geforce4 mx graphics card

I've just installed an nvidia GeForce4 mx graphics card
along with the driver which worked fine until I tried to
altr the display properties. On rebooting I now get the
wallpaper from my desktop but not my desktop which I can't
access to change things back. I fitted the card to an AGP
slot and the card is 4X for multi display management. Any
ideas on how to get my desktop back? I know this sounds a
bit vague but any help greatly appreciated.
 
Hello

Well try going to www.nvidia.com and download the
most recent drivers, reboot your pc install the new drivers
and hopefully that will correct the problem.
