numerous security warnings

T

Tom C

I am using IE 6.0 and recently I have been getting a lot of aggravating
security pop ups wanting me to install them. Also my Norton popped up a
message saying that it found and deleted a Trojan horse virus called
bd14108.exe. Just in case I done a search for the file and couldn't find it.
My virus definitions are up to date and nothing was found when I done a full
computer scan..
I can only assume this is a virus of some sort, because my other computers
are running fine.
Any ideas on what I could or should do? Is it time for a fdisk and format or
is there something else I can do?
Thanks for the help, Tom
