Numeric to Time data type

I have a linked table, whose properties are unable to be changed from numeric
to date/time. I am wanting to take this field and have the data reflect
medium time format vs the current numeric format

What is "the current numeric format"? Integer seconds, hhnnss in a
Long Integer, what? Please give us a little help here! You can see
your database; we cannot.
