Numeric keypad

Hi

I've got a Laptop but a have a little problem with it. For my work I use a
lot of numbers, and to use these on my laptop I have to press the "Fn" key
then the "Num lock" and then I could use the numeric keys which are on the
same keys as the "u" the "i" , "k".... but they are written in yellow, I
could also use the "shift" key and press the numbers under the "F1" , "F2" .
the problem is that both of these methods aren't very handy....

That's why I bought a separate USB numerical keyboard like this one
http://www.promarkt.de/online/catalog/pics/7133030001_org.jpg

The problem is that this thing really doesn't help me because if I want to
use the numbers from that keyboard I have to press the "numlock" on that
board but then if I want to type something and I press one of these letters
like "I" or "k" I get a number, so if I want to type normally again I have
to press the numlock button again, so this board isn't helping me because I
still have to press all those buttons....

Can anyone tell me how I should do it or what I keyboard I should buy if I
want to have a separate numerical keyboard with which I couldn't have to
press any numlock button, so that I can use my normal keyboard and the
numerical keyboard together without having to press these buttons every time
I want to use letters/numbers. Or maybe I forgot to change something in my
configuration?

Anyway Thanks for your help

You might try simply using that row of keys above the "qwerty"
line. You can even touch type them, no shifts required.
