Numeric formatting in Access 2003

Pemmom

I have created an access database. There are several fields that are
formatted as currency, with two decimal places. When I enter say - 4.22, it
displays 4.00, NOT the .22. My total field doesn't bring forward the .22
either. WHAT am I doing wrong?? HELP

Check the data type for those field at table level. I bet that they are
integer or long integer. By definition, integers don't have decimals.

Something to remember in Access: formatting is how it looks, not how it's
stored.
