Number to Text

I would like to take a numeric number (3 for example) and write it out in
text (three). Is there an easy formula to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you, but how do you past this into visual basic? do you just open
visual basic from excel and past in?

Hello,

In Excel, press ALT + F11, then insert a module, paste macro text into
that module and go back to worksheet. You can call the function then
like other Excel worksheet functions.
