Number of Identical processes

is it normal to have more than one identical process running; for example i
have 3 IEXPLORE.EXE and 3 svchost.exe and 2 PadExe.exe running; all showing
in the task manager

It is not normal to have more than one iexplore.exe running and that is
usually a sign of virus/malware infection. It is normal to have more
than one svchost.exe process running, although that doesn't mean your
computer is clean. I can't answer the question about Panda since I
don't use it.

It would be a good idea to go through these malware removal steps
systematically, including the scanning with either Sysclean or David
Lipman's Multi-AV:
