Number of Controls on Form Limit

Is there a max number of controls that can be on one form. Can this be
changed to a higher number.

700 and change and no you can't change it. However; any controls that were
created and then later deleted still count against you. If you have deleted
controls over the life of the form you can recover those "counts" by copying
the form to a form with a new name, then delete the original form, then
rename the new form to the original name.
 
754 to be precise, but then, who'se counting :)
