How may I increase the number of simultaneous connections to a shared folder.
I need to be shared for at least 20 users in the same time. I have the error
"Maximum number of connections has been reached...". It is XP SP2.

XP Pro has a limit of 10 simultaneous connections from over the network. If
you have a requirement for more than that then you need to consider changing
to a server product for the machine that has the shared folders.

By installing a real server operating system on the target computer or,
if the machine is only serving files, installing an operating system
that doesn't have the inbound connections limitation such as Linux.

concurrent connections:

5 for XP Home
10 for XP Pro/Tablet/MCE
49 for SBS 2000
74 for SBS 2003
Unlimited for full Server O/Ses

What is "Unlimited for full Server O/Ses" ?

exactly what it says - a proper "full" server OS (such as Windows Server
2003 or any flavour of Linux installed as a server) will allow as many
connections as you have bandwidth.....
