Number Lock Satus at startup

Is it possible to change the number lock status at system
startup, it is currntly ON.

Set the Reg_Sz string value of
"InitialKeyboardIndicators"="0" (zero)
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard
will set the numlock to "Off" when no one is logged on. May need to restart
for effect.

Yes, normally there is a setting in the bios to turn this
option on/off.

Windows NT/2000 ignore the bios on this issue.

Bios setting is OFF, num lock only comes on when logging
on.

This setting is already set to "0", the num lock only
comes on when logging on. I tried to set the registry
value you mentioned in the actual user section, but on
rebooting the value was changeg to "2" and the num lock
once again came on.

Any other suggestions appreciated.
