how to find certain numbers in columns that are in different rows

Use AutoFilter.

Say we want to find 13 in column A.

Click on A1 and pull-down:
Data > Filter > AutoFilter > and then select 13

Only those rows containing 13 in column A will be displayed.

Hi,
click Ctrl F and enter the number you are looking for then press find next,

other option is to filter the column by that number so all the rows with
that number will show up

if this helps please click yes, thanks
