Tried to install new (!) driver from HP for my DeskJet
930c printer (930-deu-xp.exe dated 01/22/2001) and during
execution of the named exe file NTVDM.EXE terminates dur
to an error. In the Microsoft Knowledge Base I found that
NTVDM is the NT Virtual DOS Machine, and I could also try
execute | command.com. Indeed, this lets NTVDM.EXE
terminate in the same manner.
As the driver is the latest/newest one available from HP,
has anyone got an idea as to what should I do other than
buying a new printer ? ;-)
My configuration:
ASRock K7VT4-4X
AMD XP 2500+
512 MB DDR-RAM Infineon
Win XP Professional SP1a + patches
geforce4 MX440 64MB 64-Bit DDR
