Got a question thought someone might be able to help me out with.

A friend of mine had this happen, she went to boot up her machine and the
screen came up that ntldr was not findable press any key to continue.

What is ntldr?

Any help would be appreciated

Sherry,
I don't know the full in's & out's but 'nldr' is one of the core files
needed to start (I assume 'xp'), if it is missing and tthere are other items
on this forum of the same subject (I replied so search under my name). It can
be found on the installation cd for 'xp' under ???\ I386\ as a file. Try
finding it on the installation disk and copying in the the root directory
(normally C:). the system might then boot ok.

Good luck.
