Hi

I turned on my pc earlier today and got the following message:

NTLDR missing
Press any key yo restart

I tried the following:

Booted my computer with the Windows XP CD and when prompted to Setup or Repair, I choose Repair. In the Recovery Console, I entered the following commands.

C:
ATTRIB -H NTLDR
ATTRIB -S NTLDR
ATTRIB -R NTLDR
COPY E:\I386\NTLDR C:\
Y
EXIT

After removing the CD and rebooting the pc, I still got the error message.

Any ideas on the easiest way to get the pc working without installing again/or losing data?

Regards

Dave

You don't have a disk in the floppy drive, do you?
