NTI CD MAKER 7

S

Shellback

I have an Acer E380 with Vista Home Premium installed which included NTI CD
Maker 7
which has worked until today when I received the error message "%1 was not
installed properly, or it was altered"
When I go to Control Panel/Programs and Features and try to repair NTI CD
Maker 7 it wants to know where
the .msi file is. I do not know where this file is unless it is on a hidden
partition that Acer uses to store Vista
recovery info on. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Acer computers come with a program called eRecovery, that will allow you to
burn recovery DVDs for both your OS and manufacturer's software. NTI CD
Maker installation files can be found on the recovery disks.

Since neither eRecovery nor the NTI burning suite is part of Windows, you
should look for further advice on Acer's support and download sites.
