NTFS

I have windows xp pro installed on drive C: which is NTFS and I tried to
install win98 on drive E: which is FAT32 but the setup gave me error message
that I have NTFS drive so setup cannot continue. So any help please to make
me fix this and install win98 on my drive E:

The older operating system must be already installed before starting the
XP installation.

If you have a floppy drive have someone make you the startup disk for whatever win 98 you have.
The disk should also have fdisk, format and your CD drivers on it. Unplug your win XP drive and
set the hd you want 98 on as C drive. Boot with the floppy, fdisk the hd, being sure to make the
drive primary & active, then format and or run your win98 install. When all done replace your XP
disk and set which ever hd you wish to boot from. Have fun
