NTFS convert -- cluster size, partition size?

I have a FAT32 drive that is using 8k clusters. I wonder if it's possible,
either before, during, or after a conversion, to change the cluster size to
4k. Also, will the conversion result in any changes to the partition itself?
It's currently 16,659,144 kb, I assume that the same boundary will apply
once it's in NTFS?

The same boundry will apply.

When you are using the Convert.exe utility to convert to NTFS, Windows 2000 always uses a 512-byte cluster size.
Windows XP will use the default cluster size (Allocation Unit).

You can use partition magic after the convert to set the Allocation Unit to 4096.
