NTFS boot Disk

Does anyone know if a utility exists that will create a NTFS boot disk (on
one floopy) so that I can get to my files if the OS doesn't boot-up?? I had
one for the "old NT 4.0" but it doesn't work with the new version of NTFS
used in 2000 and newer(XP and 2003).

You can boot your XP CD and recover your boot configuration, and lots
more.

You _can_ make a bootable floppy but all it does is replace your MBR,
boot.ini, and NTLDR (?). It just points to the XP system on your C
drive and bootstrats it. Worth something if you screw with multiboot
systems, but not much more.

Search the KB on support.microsoft.com for how to make it.

Floppies are old tecnology, they are FAT16, if you want to
create a boot disk for WIN xp you need 6 floppy disks, 4
for win 2000

NTFS.com has a dos utility that will read an NTFS disk. You can copy files
from it to a disk with a fat32 files system but it will not write to a NTFS
disk.
