At the 4gb limit NTbackup.exe quits with the message, "End
of media encountered while backup up to non-removable
media." OK, I think I have a clue: The large USB HD is
formatted FAT32. While there are really about 60GB left,
NT doesn't think it can see beyond 4GB.
Can I solve this by converting the HD to NTFS? I don't
plan to let W2k compress the files.
