I've created an unattend.txt to do the upgrade of NT4 WORKSTATION and Win
2000 to XP PRO.
Example: winnt32.exe /s:\\XXX\XXX /unattend:\\xxx\xxx\unattend.txt
Now, everything runs smooth, doesn't prompt for key, partitioning, etc - BUT
it stops at user name and Admini screen -
QUESTION:
HOW Can I tell it to continue using the previous name and admin account -
IT'S an UPGRADE anyways thus I thought it should use it anyhow. Can't it
use the previous OS settings (name and local admin info) - at LEAST the same
COMPUTER NAME -
Again, this is an UPGRADE over NT or 2000 - NOT a CLEAN install. There's
has to be a way to upgrade unattended and not prompt for NEW computername
Thanks.
